Private equtiy case interview
Hi everyone, I'm currently an investment banking analyst and have an upcoming interview with a private equity fund. The next round is scheduled in three days and will last around 40–50 minutes. I’ve been told it includes a “case exercise,” but it won’t be a traditional modeling test. Instead, it would be slightly closer to a consulting-like case, designed to assess business acumen.
While I’ve practiced traditional PE case studies, such as building an LBO from a CIM, I haven’t done a case interview before. Has anyone encountered something similar for a PE interview? I’d really appreciate any advice or resources on how to best prepare for it.
Thanks a lot in advance!
