For those of you that have lateraled from a PE firm after a typical two-year associate stint to another firm, at what point did you begin reaching out to headhunters to begin the recruiting process?
I am a second year associate currently and am coming up on the end of my tenure this coming summer, so I'm trying to figure out when the best point is to start networking and reaching out to headhunters.
