Reverse Commute
Does anyone have any experience doing the reverse commute from NYC to Greenwich etc. I see stone point and other funds are based out there. Want to know if the commute is as bad as it seems.
Thanks!

Wouldn’t do it unless it’s for a dream fund or fund is flexible about work from home a few days a week. Reverse commute is tough
It's pretty rough tbh - the counterpoint is that most of those funds have a bit more flexibility around leaving earlier so you're not taking a $100 Uber back to the city at 1am after the trains shutdown. Anecdotally have found that the cultures of those funds tend to be more "family-friendly" given the partners chose to be the burbs for a reason.
If you know you're not going to live in NYC forever / are close to settling down, it's honestly not a bad long-term play (vs. ending up in the burbs later on and commuting into the city).
NatWest pays for your monthly ticket from GC to Stamford, if you choose to live in NYC
Depends how far you live from Grand Central (or 125th Street) and how far the fund is from the train station in Greenwich. The train itself is 45-55 minutes which isn't awful but your trip to and from the train can make it pretty painful.
