Rotation analyst

I have the option of changing my last rotation. Debating on choosing Credit analyst (Real Estate, Corp bank credit analyst) or a Buy-side role, equity research to eventually break into private equity. I’m in between the two. Long term growth and comp is very important for me. I appreciate any guidance!

I am 23 years old with an education/ internships in accounting.

Really depends on context you haven't provided. Where are you working (give the general category of firm and some representative examples vs. giving your actual firm)?

Neither real estate lending or equity research are great options for a direct exit to PE, but the latter would position you better to lateral into an IB role, which would then position you for PE.
