Should I switch firm/industry?

I've been working at a Family Office/PE firm for about a year and a half focused on life sciences buyout. Most people are lots of fun and hours and comp are great. I'm not sure how great investors  the partners are though or whether I fit in with culture where people focus on selling narrative vs being intellectually honest. There's also an senior associate I worked closely with who's considered the riding star in the fund  and stabbed me in the back and  while the rest of our deal team did nothing and let it happen. Between all this I've been thinking of leaving.

That being said we're on the verge of closing a $2B fund which would lead to hiring a lot more people and increasing firm prominence.

I have two options rn if I leave:

1) Top multimanager seat at a really large ($4B) pod which seems pretty long term oriented (for a pod) and PM seems to share a lot of profits with the analysts. Would be discretionary for 1-2 years at 300-350 all in before getting paid off P&L. This would have me switching from biotech to hardware tech e.g. Nvidia

2)  New structured product platform  created under one of the PE mega funds. Would be financing pharma r&d in exchange for some combination of fixed payments and capped royalties.

Ultimately my interest is in starting my own VC/GE firm with the potential to also do crossover and pipes in healthcare, climate, and potentially tech but overall impact oriented.

Not sure if either of these moves makes sense or hold tight and find something that makes more sense (not sure what's the right next step towards my goals).
