Silly question: tie or no tie for growth equity interviews
Have asked around and had conflicting views. Interviewing in office for a large growth equity fund, think summit / GA / Insight / Insight / TCV for a junior position. Tie or no tie?!
Wear the tie
i went with no tie and it worked out for me. my thinking was that the firm’s culture felt very VC/techy and that wearing a tie could seem out of touch.
