Source for SaaS Public Markets Data
Do y’all know of a source for operational metrics (NRR, ARR etc.) of public companies with historical data?
CapIQ doesn’t seem to help and the other company I could find (Public Comps) seems defunct

Thanks! I have come across this. Unfortunately, couldn’t find a way to get historical data using this. Had the bright idea of using an internet archive tool but they don’t have many snapshots of this!
No real way besides hand spreading unless some startup build an AI bot to search public filings:
1) Not all public co’s report NRR/ARR, and there is no universal standard used to calculate ARR. NRR tends to be more comparable at face value but it’s not GAAP, so can’t always assume it is apples to apples
2) Some public cos report ARR/NRR figures in the beginning, then stop, then start again - so you really should check each co specifically.
3) NRR often has different names for ex: net dollar base retention, net retention, dollar based retention etc.
I would say if a company reports NRR, they probs have been doing so for as long as it has been 100+ % which for some may be the last 5 years, last 2 years etc. Truly the best way to search these numbers in the 10Q/K yourself
