Special Situations Exit Opps
For anyone doing Special Situations or knows about the situation, how do the exit opps usually work? I'm looking to understand what alternatives I would have if I end up not liking the firm or strategy I join. Would it be just lateraling to other special sits funds (which are pretty limited) or could I also join distressed funds or buyout PE without going to Bschool?
Also any thoughts on what case studies for these typically look like would be appreciated - have two case studies coming up, but the technicals so far have just been PE technicals (although definitely more on the difficult side).
