Sr. Ass/VP GE comp
I was able to find a lot of info on analyst/associate comp but I’m looking for senior associate / VP comp at growth equity firms (not late stage VCs but more so LMM tech buyout firms).
Breakdown of base / bonus / carry would be awesome.
im coming from large cap PE so I’ll offer a sr ass data point to get the contribute. At my firm, total comp is $475-500 with about 200 / 300 base / bonus. There’s also carry but idk the figure.
For us (large cap pe) snr ass is 175 / 225-275 bonus (400-450)
Seems below mkt.
Don't have a datapoint for Sr. Ass / VP, but at my GE firm first-year Associates make ~300k. From that, I'd assume Sr. Associate comp would be slightly below/in line with that at your large-cap PE fund.
What's the latest fund size if you don't mind asking? Just to contextualize the $300k
