Good firm - smart guys and decently sized fund ($2B I recall?). Would place these guys as one of the better middle market firms out there. However, they are NOT in Manhattan (white plains?) and comp is tad lower than some comparable MM firms. FYI - these guys are FIG focused (Ie: they buy a lot of insurance companies, specialty finance, biz services).
They are currently raising Trident V. Their previous fund (Trident IV) was $2.25 billion. Their office is in Greenwich.

Hi all,
Does anyone have insight on Stone Point Capital (comp, culture, work/life balance, interview style)? Know there have been a few posts on this in the past but nothing substantive since 2010. Have heard great things about them and know they're currently the biggest FIG-focused fund (most recent fund ~$4.5bn IIRC). Appreciate any insight.
Thanks!
