Stone Point Capital - Credit side of the house

i know there is a umm PE fund that mostly focuses on financial services, but was wondering if anyone had any updated insight on the credit arm? Looks like they have an opps fund and a DL fund. Wonder what culture/hours/comp/progression looks like

Based on the most helpful WSO content, there isn't specific detailed information about the credit arm of Stone Point Capital in the provided knowledge base. However, Stone Point Capital is primarily known for its focus on financial services and has expanded into fintech and other verticals like real estate, HR software, and business services. Their private equity side is noted for exceptional performance, competitive compensation (on par or exceeding megafunds), and a good work-life balance for a firm of its size.

If you're looking for insights into their credit arm, it might be worth exploring their opportunities fund and direct lending fund further through networking or reaching out to current employees. Culture and hours on the PE side are described as strong, with associates generally having reasonable hours outside of live deal sprints. Compensation for first-year associates in PE is estimated between $250-300K, which might provide a benchmark for the credit side.
