Stone Point Credit

Anybody know anything about Stone Point Credit? Not the FIG PE side of the business. The generalist platform that invests all across the capital structure. Insights on pay and responsibilities would be helpful. Is it all debt transactions, or are there equity ones mixed in too? How is this generally viewed compared to traditional PE?

It’s opportunistic credit. If you don’t like credit you won’t like it. It’s a different mindset and skill set.

Always here to help!

They claim that they invest across the capital structure, meaning they sometimes do equity/coinvest deals too. Is it solely just debt? And what exactly does opportunistic credit mean? Distressed debt?

I just assumed I got cut. I interviewed 1 week ago and didn't hear shit. I initially got the invite to schedule an interview the week before last week but then got ghosted temporarily. Not sure if they're still interviewing candidates or what's the deal. I do know they were running interviews the week of labor day. Seems like an extremely lean process
