Summer Analyst vs. FT Offer
So I'm currently interning for a small PE family office and I'm expecting a full time offer from the firm when I graduate this May. However, there's a much bigger middle-market firm that I interviewed to be a Summer Analyst. If I receive the FT offer and the Summer Analyst offer, which one should I pick?
While a FT offer is great coming out of undergrad, I feel like the experience of being Summer Analyst at a big firm like this will look better on my resume. But I've also heard that employers care more about FT experience as opposed to interning/"Summer" experiences but does this apply to PE? Like I said though, the possibility of gaining a lot of experience and potentially becoming an analyst at this firm is very enticing.
Thoughts?
