Taxes and diversity in PE

What are your thoughts on this article that talks about how PE is an easy industry to target for taxes and the east to counteract that is through diversity. I know that diversity is mostly talk right now but do you think the fear of taxes will finally cause the industry to be more diverse and would that half any tax changes? What would it mean for younger PE professionals who want a longer career? Other thoughts?
