Information on this shop seems sparse, wondering if anyone has had experience with them / insight on culture. And no, not the RE guys

Interviewed with them 2 years ago. Everyone I met was pretty nice but one VP was an absolute robot and a partner that was a huge prick.
Appreciate the insight. Curious about the partner, what did he do in the process? Did you end up turning it down because of him? Would you consider it a decent shop?
Hard to describe but just very rude and clearly didn’t want to be interviewing. Maybe he was having a bad day, who knows. And no I didn’t turn down because of him but got a better offer at a larger fund. They also seemed like an older school culture, with more of a value-oriented focus that likely wasn’t a great fit with what I was ideally looking for.
With that said, I think they’re doing fine in terms of returns. No clue if they’ve raised a fund recently so I’d do more diligence on that but I think there are worse places you could end up. The MP, Frank, and two MDs I met with couldn’t have been nicer guys. I think it’s still seen as a solid lower middle market shop in the sectors they play in.
