Thoughts on some top Upper MM PE Firms

Hey guys - does anyone have some educated views on the following funds? Especially interested in people / culture / hours / etc.

H&F CD&R Silver Lake BC Partners

Really appreciate any and all commentary. Thanks!

All great shops, wouldn't call them MM necessarily. Are all for the same location? Be aware that Silver Lake for example, is focused on one industry, while others have a more generalist setup. I know a couple people who left Silver Lake because of that and joined other MFs and MMs.

I'm talking about liquid. Rich enough to have your own jet. Rich enough not to waste time. Fifty, a hundred million dollars, buddy. A player. Or nothing. See my Blog & AMA
