Timing of drug test for full time role
Got a full time offer for a PE firm (think KKR/Blackstone/Carlyle). I heard from an analyst there that they didn't drug test for full time. However, I'm still pretty paranoid and am planning on quitting in case they do. I currently smoke every night to help me fall asleep. My question is--when do drug tests usually occur? Been looking at other posts here and I can't tell if I should start quitting 30 days before the start date or even further in advance, if they'll make me take a test a few weeks before I start. Never been drug tested before for any internship. Thanks!
Wouldn’t risk it, why take a chance on an amazing opportunity?
I’ve heard that if it’s not in the contract you signed that they cannot legally drug test you fwiw

Not sure when they occur but for peace of mind, you should get a home piss test kit from amazon. Super cheap and accurate
Anything stopping you from quitting now (until you start or they test)? Seriously.
Melatonin, etc. are all other options that can't fuck up a dream job.
