Top in house corporate VCs?

I have been looking into the VC space quite a bit lately, though I have always been a part of the start up scene in my community. I was wondering what are your thoughts on in-house corporate VCs? What would you say are among the most notable in the industry?

In-house corporate VCs are smart decisions by large corporations. You initialize investment in early/growth stage companies that align with your product/market development goals without having to find these companies post-IPO (when you have to buy them out at grossly inflated multiples).

Amgen Ventures is a good one I can think of in the biotech space.
