Top Secondaries Shop vs MM PE firm
I am in final rounds with a few MM PE firms and top Secondaries / Co-invest shops (Blackstone / Goldman / AlpInvest / Ardian) pros and cons to each?
MM / LMM PE - direct PE experience and can probably lateral over to secondaries in the future?
Secondaries - Hours may be slightly better, see it as a long term career option, brand recognition, growing space
I expect secondaries to be slightly lower total comp 200 vs 225?
What would you guys choose?
