(Urgent) Thoughts on the Services Vertical for Private Equity
What are your thoughts on the Services Vertical? Is it growing? Are there a lot of shops/ opportunities for people who specialize in the Services Vertical?

Services investors are dying, I’d suggest you steer clear OP. Not a place to build a career (minimum wage tailwinds and all).
Products is the place where any young, sharp investor would seek to build their career.
There are a few large caps in the space (Warburg, Apax) that have dedicated focus on business services which have been doing really well; there are 2 dozen MMs that work in the space but they struggle with creating differentiated operational advantage so the whole minimum wage tailwind becomes a problem
Otherwise there’s a ton of interesting assets in the space, as long as you’re interested more in the B2B side of things
