Vitruvian Partners: Anyone knows/worked there?

Wanna get some info on the European private equity firm. What's the culture? Pay for entry-level analysts/associates? Performance/reputation among private equity houses in EU and the globe?

Thanks

Well-regarded on the whole. I believe returns are good.

Returns are excellent. They ranked 7 on a global scale in the 2022 HEC Paris- Dow Jones 2022. Very interested in learning more about culture / comp / hours / strategy, especially for the London office.

Solid fund in London, although culturally have a rep of British and Euro elites / snobs. If you can get through that and fit in you'll be set up well for the future

Good shop though their pay is a joke, i.e. £70k + 30% bonus in London for AS1

Are their hours extremely good? Otherwise, it really is a joke as the pay is significantly lower than for first-year analysts at most banks.

Holy fuck that’s awful. I didn’t realise it was so bad.

It is objectively the worst I’ve seen.

Any idea why so low? This is level with U.K. lower lower mid market.

This can't be true, they've got many ex bankers who would not take that salary. Worse than an.1

Nothing stand out in terms of hours. Think many "growth" funds like to label themselves as such for recruitment purposes and thereby pay a lower pay even if it's just as much an LBO fund. Think they also run a program similar to US funds where you get kicked out after 2 years to do an MBA.
