VP2 - 1 or 2 pg Resume?

Hey all, I've been at my current firm for a while but came across a compelling opportunity for which I want to submit my resume at a growth equity fund. I'm a second year VP, with decent origination experience and have led deals since I was a mid-level associate. Given my position and that the fund does growth equity, would a 1 page or 2 page resume be more appropriate (second page being a deal sheet and first page becoming more "generic" positions and responsiblities)?

If the latter, would I include pretty much all deals I worked on across my positions, even if not closed?

There are a lot of people in this industry, me included, that strongly feel that resumes should NEVER be longer than 1 page so I would keep it at that. Honestly, a resume should be about highlighting relevant contributions and achievements, you don't have to list every deals you've been involved in (ie. focus on quality, not quantity). Feel free to add a detailed deal sheet as an appendix though

1 page resume and a supplemental deal sheet which could be a page or two long depending on how many deals you've done. Ideally it would be one page as well, unless you've done a lot of deals from end to end and really want to highlight them. Even then, I'd just cherry pick the top 3/4 you can cover in a lot of detail as far as transaction details, thesis, the process work you did, who you managed, etc.
