What to do if HH which recruits for firm you want is ignoring you?

Does this effectively mean you are SOL with that firm? Can they really gatekeep that effectively? Has anyone had success with networking with individuals at said firms to bypass the recruiters?

No. You can go direct. MFs prefer direct referrals from even associates (and sometimes give them a cash bonus of line 10-15k per head). Saves them HH fees. Godspeed
