What to expect following PE offer

I got a PE offer for 2025 this weekend (just finished my first year at MBB). What can I expect now in terms of communication from the firm (e.g., will there be pre-work events to meet people, will they cover any expectations they have of me before joining, will I find out who else is in my class etc)? Not sure what the norm is or if I should reach out to the people that interviewed me but I'm really excited!

Congrats on the offer! From here, it's totally variable. It's really firm dependent and some may keep in touch via events (annual meeting invite, social events, etc.), firm email updates, and or swag boxes, but others may just be pretty quiet until closer to your start date.

I'd foremost highlight that you shouldn't stress if you don't hear from them for a while (months+, etc.). Unless any new circumstances arise, your job is there.
