What’s the better option?
I'm down to two options for college which are UCF(global pathways)
Pros-better location, better weather,In state tuition.
Cons- might not be able to land internships before sophomore year because of the global pathway program.
Rutgers- costs more(out of state tuition),
Pros- better ranked, better for finance, close to nyc, starting straight away-direct admission.
Cons-weather,out of state tuition.
Would love to hear different opinions.
My intended major is finance.
I would do Rutgers. Nothing wrong with UCF but it's a very stark difference in schools - the path from Rutgers is very clear if you follow the right steps, while UCF will require quite a bit of luck as well (especially with a program that'll eat up your time)
Not to minimize tuition here, but Rutgers is a pretty affordable school, you could offset that with internships / random scholarships fairly easily
