When do you guys have time to interview?
Current first year and I hate my job and am getting crushed. I'm in the process of interviewing with a couple firms, but legit have no time to complete the case studies and I barely have enough time to take phone calls.
What do you guys recommend? Should I start pushing back on work to have more time to recruit out of banking? I feel like I won't get any offers at this pace, when I can't focus on the case studies.
bump
I interviewed during the whole pandemic so no one realises I was away on a zoom call with my PE, took a week off for my case study around Xmas/new year time (everyone was on holiday that time of the year and no one was suspicious)
Push back work for sure - at the end of the day you have to look out for yourself. Remember that these people don't give a fuck about you and you gotta play the long game.
