I'm curious if any PE / GE firm has raised their associate salaries since the recent raise on the IB side? CVP's junior bankers are making more than the majority of their PE colleagues right now....
How long does it typically take for buyside firm to "catch up" with the raise from IB?

What is UMM PE base? I heard most already went up
Have heard anywhere from $230-250k TC?
This is low. TC for many top MM / UMM firms is ~$300K now. The split between base / bonus varies a bit.
Why would they pay more when they're still getting the best and brightest from IB?
If they start to have a need (in the unlikely event that top analysts stop going to PE), I'm sure they'll raise.
