I heard the opposite about firms being full. Only KKR, TB, WP, H&F, CD&R. I believe a lot of places still have spots
Way more MFs than that are full for NY offices. A couple have "open spots" but not really available for the typical male asian/white EB/BB kid.
Def a lot of UMM/MF have spots left per HH interaction. Also, a lot of these firms haven't filled or even kicked off yet from uncertainty in the market. Wondering who you know is filled

Have friends at 2 MF who said they haven’t even kicked yet for 2024
TPG, Carlyle, BX, Apollo, Warburg, KKR, Bain Cap, H&F, Advent, CD&R, Apax, CVC, Permira, EQT, Thoma Bravo, Vista, Silverlake are the only megafunds and have all kicked off.

At a MF and not aware of us or any others still waiting to kick off for 2024. Are you potentially referring to satellite offices like SF?
Heard some went group specific and some groups are running separate processes like Advent & CD&R. Also have heard there are still spots open at some MF that aren’t KKR, WP, H&F, TB. Could be wrong, but this is what I was told from them. Also allegedly tons of slots in the UMM. Again, this is just what I have been told recently from friends in the space
