Have a first round next week with Ares for RE equity position in their NYC office. Does anyone have an idea of what questions to expect?

When did you hear back?
Remember from last year, basic NPV questions and traditionally real estate SA questions. If you prepared you’ll be fine. Dude that interviewed was working the whole time and seemed to hate the team ngl.

yeah, MF REPE are on IB time lines now. I got my MF offer late spring of my sophomore year for my junior summer.

Superdays for 2023 were a modeling exercise (+extra case study questions) and a bunch of interviews (technical one went quite into detail). Hope that helps any current applicants
What were the resources you used to prepare for your interviews? any drives that you can share?
Basic Modeling Prep (ACRE/Udemy are pretty good), Technicals include accounting questions, paper lbo and basic re financials. They care a lot about a cultural fit so dont stress it too much and be likeable.
