Best way to apply to entry-level jobs

I'm a rising senior at a non-target, and I'm beginning to apply to full-time jobs in CRE(most interested in development and acquisitions). As I'm applying, what's the best way to cold-email employees at each firm? Is a message on LinkedIn acceptable, or should I try to find an email address? I'm planning on using the email template for mergers and inquisitions.

Any other advice on breaking into CRE would be greatly appreciated.
