Credit analyst vs underwriting analyst?

What are the differences between the job functions of a credit analyst, and an underwriting/origination analyst at a lender? When I look at the job descriptions of these different roles, they all seem to do very similar things.

My observation in my local market is that banks that do a lot of C&I lending just happen to also call their real estate analysts credit analysts as well. A lot of these groups are doing owner occupied RE loans so they can apply their general credit analysis skills and rely less on the RE expertise. A debt brokerage would be less inclined to use the credit analyst title
