dad opened credit card in my name - what do i do? (not about RE)

since reddit and google aren’t working, my next best option was to come here. so after getting an alert that my credit score dropped 40 points, i quickly realized i was either retarded or a victim to identity theft. going to cut it short but i found out after an hour of panicking that my dad (without telling me) opened a random ass credit card in my name. some super bad chase travelers reward card. he lied and said he didn’t think i knew how to use a credit card and that he was trying to help my credit… i’m 22 years old and have been living on my own financially for years. he did this right before booking tickets to hawaii for his fiancé and her daughter son and their bf/gf’s. A trip I did not go on let me add HA. I’m assuming he used it for some points or airline/hotel deal thing idk.

my question is now, how do i get rid of this crappy card (i was in the process of selecting a good one for my 2nd CC not this useless one)? how do i repair my credit score drop? am i just screwed?

although this is a sleazy move imo i’m probably not going to report him for identity theft of file a police report lol. please lmk if you’ve had an experience similar and fixed/saved your credit. thanks
