Black Creek Group is a phenomenal firm if you're into Industrial and HQ'd in Denver. One of the strongest players in that sector. Not sure if they're more NYC based or harder to get into given that they've been acquired by Ares - but that'd be my number 1 for sure.
Bow River Capital has about $2.0B in AUM and is HQ'd there
Ascentris is HQ'd there and has a sizeable portfolio, idk AUM
Trailbreak Partners does a lot of cool Dev/Redev work (but I believe they may be more of a traditional Developer than "REPE" so to speak.) Think they also have a traditional Corp PE arm
Deutsche Finance America is HQ'd in Denver. German Pension money so they trophy-hunt low-yield assets in prominent markets.
LBA Realty has an office there (think they're more of an Owner/Operator than traditional PE)
Allante is HQ'd in Denver and does mostly value-add MF if I'm not mistaken (boooooring)
Four Mile Capital is a tiny boutique with something like $500M of equity under management but hey, maybe that means they cut junior employees into the promote pool earlier than the guys at Black Lake.

I'm sure there's lots more but those are some bigger ones I know of.

Bow River has $2b total. RE is $2-300mm, if I had to guess. Rest is buyout.
Partners Group is outside of Boulder. They pay the best, hands down.
KSL Capital
Walker and Dunlop Investment Partners. Lots going on there right now.
KSL is likely the highest paying out of this group.
Yeah. That’s probably right.
fWIW, I know senior associate / avp at partners group was $250-300k all in cash about 5 years ago.
Ascentris is racist
Hey! Would you please be able to provide some details, or insight? DM me please if possible
