Great shop. NYC has a team that cranks. LA is solid too but I’ve noticed a lot of deal flow go towards JLL. They also have a great team in SF. Regardless, great place to be.
Standard qualifier: depends on city and specific team.
More generally: awesome group. Great name that carries weight anywhere you go. Probably closest shop to IB in RE... in terms of workload & comp. If you decide to exit and have done well for them, they will actively look to help place you.. which is huge.
can you shed some light into the NY and LA groups? thanks
NY absolutely cranks. Definitely a top 3 office in the country. LA has been hit or miss recently with the expansion of Newmark and JLL in LA. Still a solid office in LA.
