Excel Case Study Coming up

I have an excel case study coming up next week that's timed. To save time on formulas and formatting, I was going to create a simple cash flow model  and copy it over to the given excel case study and then input their assumptions etc. Is this a bad idea/ can they tell if I copy over ? or should I play it completely safe and just build everything from scratch on their excel sheet.

I do a template all the time, issue is sometimes you miss a mistake. I've sent in a test where it had the path to my old sheet (under my name) and we'll see if it affects an next round but build everything else from scratch.

I had a template for assumptions, a full monthly/annual model, and debt schedule. Plugged into but ran into issues since I moved things around so ended up building a lot again but had a solid 30 mins of time left and just checked it/sent it in early.

They're going to take a quick look at it over maybe a few minutes, see what returns you got and if it looks good.
