Anyone have any idea why these guys left? People move around all the time but this many rainmakers is shocking

 

Vinson was allegedly fired/laid off, but not sure why. could have been political or something else. the other departures were much more recent. 

new CMBS ventures or groups like Nomura emerging from the ashes of decades ago tend to fully guarantee comp (bonus) for a few years, if the numbers made sense then that would explain some of the rainmakers leaving. just speculating of course. 

 

Poached some quality people from DB but they’re crippled af. Lost all their rainmakers overnight.

 

Old news but adding that Chris Burke is at Wells now. Barclays seems super gutted rn.
