Fucked my GPA

I’m a sophomore and I did really bad this semester like dropped my gpa from 3.6-3.3. How important is GPA when recruiting for CRE (brokerage or development)? I know IB and ER are more holistic but I feel like it’s just as important if I’m trying to apply at good firms in CRE.

A 3.3 should still get you past most HR screens for internships, but since RE isnt on a specific hiring cycle like other fields, you may have a little time to improve before anyone sees your resume

You’re fine.  Obviously try to get it up but not the end of the world.  I had lower than that and got an offer from a very strong regional development firm in a major market. Keep in mind the regional and local firms may care less about this than the TCRs of the world, at least to an extent.

I’m pretty sure my GPA was sub 3.0. I’m now at one of the big national developers. Granted I’m a couple years behind peers my age because I had to grind my way there but we are all still sitting at the same table doing the same work.
