Good Networking Events NYC
Looking to network with people in Real Estate Acquisitions within the NYC Area? Right now I am in Young Real Estate Professionals of New York, and just joined the Urban Land Institute. Any other good organizations/events you would recommend for networking with people in acquisitions?

Okay, so I'm currently in the job search, and I'm not having too much luck. Does anyone know of any way to network in NYC? Personally I have 3 years wealth management exp and an undergrad finance degree from a non target 4 year university. Any tips on getting in the door at a bank?

I am based in Europe so I don't know to what extent my piece of advice is valid or not, but if I were you I would contact people via LinkedIn and offer them a quick coffee to talk about their jobs. You may have to send 10/15 messages to secure a catch-up around a coffee, but usually that works quite well.
There is an amazing networking app called Shapr in Europe, have a look and see if people are using it in NYC too. Alternatively, look at other networking apps.
