Got Let Go Recently - Any Helpful Tips?

Hey guys,

Got let go recently, firm didn’t have a need for my role in the foreseeable future. Less than a year at a developer, 3-4 years overall experience in real estate. Any advice that’s been helpful besides reach out to alumni, get on calls, apply to jobs, reach out to people at those firms. Maybe a masters is an option to get in some of the more institutional shops.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear that, really sucks. If I were in your shoes I’d just do the things that got me a job in the first place. Network and reach out to alumni. Did the firm just let you go without warning or anything? Did you get any money, are they willing to write a recc letters or something or at least put in a good word with future potential employers that it wasn’t your fault you got let go?
