Has anyone been rejected from Georgetown MSRE?
Have you or anyone you know been rejected from Georgetowns MSRE program? Also would be helpful to know - if you got in what was your gpa? I'm applying with a 3.06 GPA from a top 30 school and am worried about being accepted.
I am sure people have been rejected
No. If you have a pulse, you're good to go.
The MSRE programs literally take everyone

Got in to their online program with a 2.9.
Was the program worth it for you
For the online, I didn't feel it was worth it, personally. In retrospect, I would have rather gone to night school at a local program for the price.
how many years of work experience
When I applied, I had ~3 years of CRE experience, plus another year of experience in a different field - so 4 years of professional experience. The personal statement/essay and the references I got were likely the biggest push for me imo
I got in w a 3.5
I had a 2.0 , got rejected.
If I were adcom I'd be impressed by the fact that you were able to graduate.
I was not aware of the drop function. Also I was working a fulltime job(night shift) while going back to school. So I took a full course load to just get my degree as fast as I could.

Admitted with a 3.5.
I think if you have above a 3.0 you are guaranteed admission. I don’t see any point to do it, unless you are already located in the DC area and/or want to transition to CRE.
