These days, I am looking to buy land in Wake County, but I think the agents are quoting me very high prices; I want to make sure before buying anything. What is the price of an acre of land in Wake County?
For anyone to give you an informed response, more information is needed. And, frankly asking WSO isn't considered due diligence.
What do you want to do with the land? What zoning? Where in the county? What type topography are you looking at? Are there public utilities nearby? Etc...
A brief search of commercial land sales in the past year in Wake County shows a massive range of $500k - $5MM per acre which tells you nothing.
