International head hunters?

I’m looking to potentially get in touch with some headhunters in Madrid. I speak Spanish fluently and love football. Great weather and it seems like a good time.

There’s a couple funds that caught my attention but I’m wondering if I can just speak to a head hunter to get familiar with the process.

If you're genuinely considering Madrid, it definitely makes sense to connect with a few headhunters — especially before you start applying to specific funds. Spain’s PE market is smaller and much more relationship-driven, so getting familiar with how the local process works will help you avoid missteps.

Most of the Madrid-focused headhunters are open to informational conversations if you’re clear about your background, your level, and the types of funds you’re targeting. They won’t necessarily run a full process for you right away, but they can tell you how Spanish timelines differ, what experience translates well, and whether your profile fits the funds you’ve been looking at.

And since you already speak Spanish and are motivated to relocate, it’s absolutely worth building those relationships early — especially in a market where cultural fit and language fluency matter a lot.

At Alliance Recruitment Agency, we see many candidates benefit from early conversations like this when exploring a new geography. It gives you clarity before you commit to the move or the applications.
