Id say if you don’t get a bonus either A. The market is fucked or B. Your firm is fucked or C. You should start looking for a new job.
Could be a combination. Otherwise I wouldn’t worry about it. Work hard and do as expected and you’ll get your bonus
if under a year with the frim, expect that your bonus will be prorated base on your time. if 25% is bonus then 25% x days with the firm/365.
I had this happen once with a manager who disliked my analyst team. Suffice to say, we all began the New Year with different companies.
