Curious on everyone’s thoughts on this. Hoping for the best but truly do not have a clue where the market is going to turn.

Yes, we have a lot of robust data on the history of pandemics. First we just have to digitize it and upload it to our models, seeing as the aforementioned data predates the invention of computers by 40+ years.

I’d agree with 2-2.5 years. The process of deleveraging and equity being wiped will continue to unfold as existing debt matures. With that valuations will reset and people will continue to adjust to the new environment. And then activity will pick up steam. Just look at how long it’s taking to unfold. What makes anyone thinks it will pickup after the new year? That’s foolish wishful thinking at best.
Short answer. No. Just keep networking and hope for those one off opportunities. Good luck.

Real estate market has already show signs of improvement. "Real estate is so fucked" doomer-ism is clownish.
Job market however...is going to lag a bit behind.
