Alright guys, I created a WSO group for the NYC based real estate community. Go to this invite link to add yourselves in. Feel free to share this link as when more people in NY join the more valuable it is for the entire group. https://chat.whatsapp.com/GUTP0SwXzwT8okYe3ll59c

I think it will be better for others to create different groups for different cities. Because if a general WSO group is created, then there would be too many people in the group and often in my experience that dilutes conversations and it can be hard to follow conversations in chatrooms. Plus, we always have this forum for general queries. My intention with the whatsapp group was to help facilitate deeper relationships, network with the local real estate community, set up meetups, happy hours, etc.

Everyone splitting up already. Could always do a RE-wide group on one of those apps.

The link to WSO's nation wide slack group is below.

If you are new to slack (which I am), use #yourcityname (#Dallas,#NewYorkCity,#Toronto) #yourstatename (e.g. #Texas, #California, #New York).

Is there anyone with experience with Slack who can explain how we should best utilize this to broadcast news to the larger group as well as subgroups (e.g. city level, regional level, etc).

PS - Banana this comment so future users can find this post easily.
