JLL Asset Management
Anyone has any thoughts on the JLL asset management team? It seems as though their responsibilities is very similar to loan servicing and I’m not sure if it’s a good learning experience

Based on previous WSO threads, here are some insights on JLL's asset management team:
If you are considering a role in JLL's asset management team, it might be beneficial to research the specific office and team you would be joining to understand their strengths and dynamics better.

I used to work on this team but this was pre-HFF merger. I thought the experience was valuable as this was my first job out of school. Learned a lot about the industry and how to analyze properties, lease renewals, financial statements, draw requests, etc.
A big name like JLL will certainly have people look at your resume, and it's up to you to sell the experience you had there. I've since exited to the buyside so the opportunities are there.
Can you share what you’re doing now in the buy side and if you were able to carry over any of the experiences/skills that you learned? Much appreciated!
I will PM you
