Real Estate Acquisition Case Study prep
Hi Guys,
i will have an acquisition case study at a REPE this week and a short excel test with a time limit of 1h.
What can i expect to see here? 1h seems short so how deeply can it get? Probably no Waterfall model.
Any tips for preparation?
Thank you
Bump
If its entry level it will be: here are some revenue and expense assumptions, some growth assumptions, some debt assumptions, build a cash flow model and solve for purchase price to get X% IRR. Show sensitivities. Could be a waterfall as well.
Yes it’s for an Internship position.
Thank you!
No waterfall then, just basic cash flows and IRR/EM sensitivities. Would be shocked if anything more complex for undergrad intern.
What if it were Associate level? What do interviews typically entail post entry-level?
