School selection - REIB and RE advisory position in the US

Hey guys!

I am a US PR currently studying in London. My undergrad is at LSE. I aim to break into REPE, general RE capital markets, or Real Asset investing desks in either London or US (preferably US). So far, I’m deciding between Cornell Baker and UChicago Booth MiF. I’m also planning to do a JD if recruiting didn’t work out.

Cornell Baker - Pros 1. Excellent curriculum that opens a lot of doors in RE development and finance. 2. Good placement - people on LinkedIn have sgreat summer internship opportunities; also, it’s one of the best RE program in the US. 3. 100% recruitment success in the US

Cons Many of the students had 2-4 year experience; so the recruitment success is biased.

Uchicago 1. It’s M7 and I like the flexible curriculum 2. Fast track to MBA with good grades

Cons US front desk doesn’t recruit from masters hahahaha.

So, I’m not sure which way to go. I’m more inclined towards Cornell cuz of its career report. I appreciate insights from yall in finance and real estate!!

Thank you for all help guys.
