SW Real Estate PE Fund - Acquisitions Investment Analyst

Investment Analyst, Acquisitions & Due Diligence with Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, economics or related disciplines. One to three years experience as a financial analyst in commercial real estate or investment banking preferred.

The Investment Analyst will support the company’s acquisition & due diligence departments. Specific responsibilities will include the following:

Analyze potential real estate acquisitions to determine investment potential. Produce detailed pro forma cash flow analysis using, ARGUS, Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic. Research and analyze markets and submarkets to ascertain initial underwriting assumptions. Conduct due diligence by studying tenant leases, tenant credit profiles, mortgage documents, property contracts, environmental reports, property condition reports, financial statements etc. Review and abstract terms of commercial real estate leases. Analyze quarterly financial statements of properties in the current portfolio and produce a report summarizing key performance attributes. Oversee acquisition reporting and filing to accurately reflect and maintain the company’s deal flow pipeline. Participate in additional special projects at the discretion of management.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, economics, statistics, real estate finance or related disciplines. One to five years of experience as a financial analyst with a commercial real estate organization or investment bank is preferred. Must have excellent skills and demonstrated experience working in both Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic. Knowledge of ARGUS is preferred. Ideal candidate will have a combination of strong written/verbal communication skills and a demonstrated high attention to detail. Must be able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and have the willingness to take on additional responsibility quickly. Must work well as part of a team and take ownership in projects.
