Take valuation offer or try and get a capital markets job over the next year?

To give some background I am a rising senior at a non-target. I interned on the valuation team at a CBRE/JLL/Cushman level brokerage and while I haven't been given an offer letter yet it has been strongly hinted at by my manager that I will be receiving a full-time offer. Not to count my chickens before they hatch.

My end game for real estate is to be a part of a top investment sales team or move over to acquisitions after gaining experience. I have networked with multiple managers on different capital markets teams over the past year and done my best to maintain those relationships. If offered the valuation position would it be better to take that and then transition over to capital markets in a year or two or is it better to try my luck at getting a job at a capital markets team? Thanks for the help.

It's better to take a real offer than hold out for a theoretical one. If you get an offer for valuation, in the middle of an ongoing pandemic and recession, take the offer.

It's much easier to job hunt when you have a paycheck and some experience on your resume.
